Chris and his sister Carine McCandless had a very close relationship, even when he struggled to connect with others. Write about a relationship in your life where you feel truly understood. Explain what makes that relationship strong and how it compares to the connection between Chris and Carine in Into the Wild.

Prompt Response: I would say the closest thing I have to this relationship is with my brother. We do not see each other often much anymore because he is in college but we are still close. There are things that I inly talk about with him because of the kind of bond we have. It connects to connection they have in the book because it is something that takes a long times and many experiences to be formed.

Summary: Read the book

Reflection: I learned more about the book.
