Think about a moment when your understanding of your family changed as you got older. How did that shift impact your perspective, and how does that connect to Chris’s realization about his parents in Chapter 11?

Prompt Response: As I got older I think that I started to realize that things just didn't magically appear. We had bills to pay, jobs to do, and it was hard work and a lot of it was stressful. There were a lot more boundaries in the world that controlled what you could do, when you could do it, and even how you had to do it. Most people comply with them as it is apart of life, but some people arn't wired like that. Chris McCandless certainly was not. He had a really really hard time doing that, way more than the average person.

Summary: I was not here (sat)

Reflection: Was not here

In “The Interlopers” by Saki, Ulrich and Georg view each other as interlopers, outsiders intruding on their land and their lives. Think about a time when you felt like an interloper or when someone else felt out of place in your world. How did that situation affect relationships, emotions, or outcomes?

Describe a time that you had an encounter with a homeless person, either directly or indirectly. What did you think and how did it make you feel?

Describe a single, specific incident that felt ridiculously bold or foolish. Ensure your response is vivid, concise, and captures the essence of absurdity.
