Describe a time when you took a hiatus from something important. What led to the break, and how did it impact you?

Prompt Response: I took a break from cooking during the holidays because so much food was being made for me. I got used to it and really liked it, but then when school started again I had to start making breakfast and meals right after school again and I was lazy. I didn't want to do it but I still did because I was hungry. My parents do cook I just am not up at the same time as them in the morning and I am home alone for a while after school.

Summary: We learned more rhetorical devices.

Reflection: I like the new wheel idea for calling on people.

In “The Interlopers” by Saki, Ulrich and Georg view each other as interlopers, outsiders intruding on their land and their lives. Think about a time when you felt like an interloper or when someone else felt out of place in your world. How did that situation affect relationships, emotions, or outcomes?

Describe a time that you had an encounter with a homeless person, either directly or indirectly. What did you think and how did it make you feel?
