Thinking about “The Rockpile,” which parent or guardian in your life has been the strictest when it comes to discipline? Explain how their approach to discipline has influenced you or shaped your behavior.

Prompt Response: My dad has always been the one that is more strict. But I would say my parents are pretty chill compared to others. I do no have a curfew, I've never been grounded, never been beat. For the most part my dad will give me a lecture and make sure that I learned my lesson. My dad is able to trust me enough to give me more freedoms. I have viewed discipline in a neutral way. I don't like it but it is important.

Summary: Working on our projects

Reflection: I learned more about analyzing stories.

In “The Interlopers” by Saki, Ulrich and Georg view each other as interlopers, outsiders intruding on their land and their lives. Think about a time when you felt like an interloper or when someone else felt out of place in your world. How did that situation affect relationships, emotions, or outcomes?

Describe a time that you had an encounter with a homeless person, either directly or indirectly. What did you think and how did it make you feel?

Describe a single, specific incident that felt ridiculously bold or foolish. Ensure your response is vivid, concise, and captures the essence of absurdity.
