Write about a dream that felt real.

 Prompt Response: A dream that felt real for me was a dream that I had a couple years ago. It was real like Temple Run, like the mobile game. And I was running from the monster and I jumped off a cliff to get away from it. At first I thought I was going to wake up. But instead I started to fly over the jungle I had been running through. It was my best dream I have ever had. I still remember today.

Summary: We did the vocab words and a News ela.

Reflection: I learned about cancel culture.

  Prompt Response:  My approach to creativity is usually just me thinkin of ideas and then I do my best to execute them. I don't really have a whole plan or anything when I'm doing something creative, things just come to me. And for a project that I am most proud of I am not really sure. Maybe something that I made on my uncles pottery wheel because it was really hard to make. In “The Interlopers” by Saki, Ulrich and Georg view each other as interlopers, outsiders intruding on their land and their lives. Think about a time when you felt like an interloper or when someone else felt out of place in your world. How did that situation affect relationships, emotions, or outcomes?

  Prompt Response:  A time I felt like an interloper was when I came to lakeside because where I went to middle school was very far from here so I didn't know that many people. Having to get myself into friend groups at first felt like I was out of place. I don't like having to go through that, I don't think anyone does, but you need to and it is an important skill in life. The only effect it really had was making me try harder to be apart of whatever group because I didn't want to be in that spot anymore.  Summary: I did the common lit. Reflection:  I learned about human/nature relationships and how they can be told in a story.

After reading “Out, Out—” by Robert Frost, reflect on a time when you faced a dangerous or high-pressure situation that demanded your complete focus. What made the situation risky, and how did your concentration affect the outcome?

  Prompt Response:  A time when I was in danger was when a car T-boned me on the way home from school. I had to quickly swerve out of the way to minimize the damage. But if I swerved too much then I would have gone into oncoming traffic. If I was not paying attention than someone could have gotten hurt.  Summary: We analyzed a poem. Reflection:  I learned about Robert Frost.
