Which aspect of creating a poem do you enjoy the most? Tell what it is and explain why.

Prompt Response: I really liked coming up with the beginning part because after that it was easier to build off of it. I think that once you get the subject and the basic idea of the poem down it flows out a lot easier. I think that I may change my poem a little bit though because I do not like how it is right now. I think I could make it longer and maybe add some similes or personification.

Summary: We worked on making a poem.

Reflection: I am learning how to construct my own poem.

In “The Interlopers” by Saki, Ulrich and Georg view each other as interlopers, outsiders intruding on their land and their lives. Think about a time when you felt like an interloper or when someone else felt out of place in your world. How did that situation affect relationships, emotions, or outcomes?

Describe a time that you had an encounter with a homeless person, either directly or indirectly. What did you think and how did it make you feel?

Describe a single, specific incident that felt ridiculously bold or foolish. Ensure your response is vivid, concise, and captures the essence of absurdity.
