As you grow older and face new experiences, what issue or topic do you think you'll have to stand up and debate most often, whether with friends, family, or society?

Prompt Response: I think that obvious answer here is politics. As we get older politics become more impactful and relevant. This means you start to talk about them more with more diverse groups of people. Like when you were younger maybe you used to talk about that stuff with your parents and then when you become a teen maybe you start talking about it with your friends more too. And by the time you are an adult it is a big defining factor in your life.

Summary: We talked about types of claims.

Reflection: I learned that there are three types of claims.

Think about a time when you felt like an interloper or when someone else felt out of place in your world. How did that situation affect relationships, emotions, or outcomes?

Describe a time that you had an encounter with a homeless person, either directly or indirectly. What did you think and how did it make you feel?
