Write about a meaningful object or place in your life that carries a story.

Prompt Response:  I used to have a dog maybe 5 years ago. She sadly died at 2 or 3 years old due to cancer and so we didn't have a long time with her. For some reason we never got rid of her collar, maybe my parents just felt bad and didn't want to throw it out. But whenever I see it in a bin with all the other dog stuff we keep it makes me remember all the memories I have with her. It's kinda sad but I like having it so that I can remember her by it. I feel like at this point if I pitch it I'll be more sad than if I just keep it.

Summary: We went over a Native American story and then we analyzed it and then answered some questions.

Reflection: I learned that the Native Americans took their land to be very sacred and special.

In “The Interlopers” by Saki, Ulrich and Georg view each other as interlopers, outsiders intruding on their land and their lives. Think about a time when you felt like an interloper or when someone else felt out of place in your world. How did that situation affect relationships, emotions, or outcomes?

Describe a time that you had an encounter with a homeless person, either directly or indirectly. What did you think and how did it make you feel?

After reading Lawrence Ferlinghetti's poem "Constantly Risking Absurdity," which explores the poet's daring craft, write about your most absurd personal experience. Describe a single, specific incident that felt ridiculously bold or foolish. Ensure your response is vivid, concise, and captures the essence of absurdity.
