Dickinson uses the metaphor of a funeral to describe her inner struggles. What metaphor would you use to describe your own mind?

Prompt Response: I would describe my mind as a river. I feel like it flows and trickles around, never staying in one spot. Also I would say that my mind can take on a number of difficult tasks but it takes me some time, just like how a river carves out its path. it will do it but it takes some time. I would also say that my mind is very strong like a river in the way that it is very hard to detour a river and change its path.

Summary: We went over another Emily Dickinson poem, a couple of them and then did some coloring.

Reflection: I learned more about how to analyze a poem and find the deeper meaning and theme.

Describe your personal approach to creativity. What steps do you follow when you’re working on a project. Tell me about a project you created that you were most proud of.

In “The Interlopers” by Saki, Ulrich and Georg view each other as interlopers, outsiders intruding on their land and their lives. Think about a time when you felt like an interloper or when someone else felt out of place in your world. How did that situation affect relationships, emotions, or outcomes?

After reading “Out, Out—” by Robert Frost, reflect on a time when you faced a dangerous or high-pressure situation that demanded your complete focus. What made the situation risky, and how did your concentration affect the outcome?
