Describe something you will never fully understand.

 Prompt Response: Something I will never fully understand is how space is infinite. Just the concept that something goes on forever is crazy. When I think about it I just imagine going on forever in darkness until you die. Even just the idea of infinity is hard to understand. I understand the idea of it but actually thinking how it works and why it is is hard to understand. I think it is really cool that there could be other life forms out there but the fact that they could be hundreds on millions of light years away is crazy to me.

Summary: We presented our origin myths.

Reflection: I heard a lot of interesting stories with good morals and lessons that could be applied to my life.

  Prompt Response:   I saw the word “brigand” in a book I was reading about adventures. It described a group of brigands who lived in the mountains and stole from travelers. From the story, I understood that a brigand is like a robber or thief. The way the author showed them attacking people made the meaning very clear. Seeing the word in the book helped me remember what it means. Summary: I did my part of the power point. Reflection: I learned new vocab words.

Describe one thing that makes you different from other people.

  Prompt Response:  Something that makes me different from a lot of people is that I am tall. I'm not that tall but compared to the average person my age I am usually taller or as tall as them. I do not know why because my mom is not that tall. My dad is also not that tall but my brother is. Maybe those height genes skipped a generation because my moms dad is very tall. He is still taller than me and he is 80 something. He's very old.  Summary: Learning more about poems and how to analyze them. Reflection:  I learned about the complexities of Emily Dickinson poems.
